This is original uniform of Senior Warrant officer of the 11th Separate Cavalry Regiment in the Armed Forces of the USSR. It was issued by Soviet Military factory in 1972. The uniform is extremely rare because the 11th regiment was very small. The uniform is S/Long: chest 38 inches, Length of jacket -31 inches, sleeves 27 inches; Trousers: waist 30 inches. The trousers go inside high boots. The uniform is made out of 100% wool and lined with silk serge. It comes with senior warrant officer shoulder boards, collar boards with insignia, sleeve patch and sleeve insignia. Also it has 2 original USSR badges. The uniform is in very good condition considering its age. Absolutely great and extremely rare for collection. The 11th separate cavalry regiment in the Armed Forces of the USSR was formed in 1962 to participate in filming on the initiative of director S.F.Bondarchuk. The first film in which the cavalrymen starred was the famous 1967 epic War and Peace. Many famous film actors served in this small regiment. The regiment participated in over 900 movies.
