Vintage 1995 Large WOOL Authentic Russian Navy St. Andrew Flag Very Rare. Issued, heavy 100% wool, size 44x65''. National USSR standard of 1981 (#GOST 8498-81). See original Russian Navy Factory stamps on the flag. Made in Russia in 1995. The ORIGINAL Russian Navy St. Andrew flag is in excellent condition for its age but it has some very small 1/8” holes from the moth bites. It is very collectible and very rare. In 1712, the final version of the Imperial Russian Navy flag was adopted for the main forces of the fleet and ships on a single voyage - the St. Andrew’s flag is white with a blue cross reaching to the corners of the flag. The specified flag is given in the appendix to the Naval Charter of 1720. Since 1992, the St. Andrew's flag has been the naval flag of the Russian Federation.
