This type of ribbons was worn on each day uniform by Soviet generals, admirals and officers. Each of the ribbon represents particular medal or order, which was awarded to the officer or general. The ribbons are mounted on the cardboard in the set for particular person depending on his awards. The set is sewn on the left side of the jacket over a pocket. This set is excellent for display. If you need to sew it on it can be done by pulling the needle through the very edge of the ribbons. It requires good skill. The sets may have different ribbons compare to the picture.
