This Ukrainian box is hand made of pressed hardboard material and inlaid with colored pieces of straw. Each piece of straw is hand cut and glued on the top of the box. The box is hand made by Ukrainian artist. The box was made in 1990s at the “Suvenir Factory” located in Kiev, Ukraine. The box comes in original factory cardboard box with information about the factory (see picture). You can use this Ukrainian box for jewelry or any other decorative purposes.
