The brooch is made out of papier-mache in Russia. It is hand painted and signed by Russian artist Kotov from Mstera Art School on the back. The name of the picture is also on the back of the brooch. It is beautiful work. It is one-of-a-kind and maybe slightly different from the picture. Safety pin on the back. Size is 2'' diameter. It is unique piece of jewelry. Great gift idea.
