This huge contemporary Faberge style Egg is handmade. It opens and can be used for small jewelry. It is lined with velvet. The handmade baked enamel work and stones (crystal) make this egg absolutely gorgeous. Gold plated. It is secured with two small magnets when it is closed. Its size is approximately 6.5'' (with the stand). It is coming with beautifully designed gold plated stand representing three loans. It is heavy over 30 oz (1.9 LB) egg. The jewelers of many countries are inspired by Faberge creations. Carl Faberge was Jeweler who was working for the Russian Royal family. Carl Faberge made most of presents that Russian Czars gave to other Royal families of Europe. His first egg for the Royal family Faberge made for Alexander III as a present for his wife in 1885. It was made out of gold, covered by white enamel and had miniature gold hen inside as a surprise.
