This is beautiful gold-plated, Ornate blue cobalt fine porcelain dinner set produced in Bohemia, Czech Republic. The set is produced by famous Epiag Porcelain company. The set consists of: soup tureen (holds 12 cups and 8†high); 6 European soup plates (9.5†diameter); 6 Dinner plates (9.75†diameter); 2 salad bowls (9.25†diameter and 3†high); large round serving plate (12†diameter); small oval serving plate (10 x 5.5â€); large oval serving plate (14 x 10â€); sauce bowl (5.5 x 3†high); salt and pepper dish (5 x 3â€) and butter dish with lid (7†diameter and 4†high). The original Epiag factory logo is on the bottom of each item. The set is rare and great for collection and also great for elegant party. We can provide more pictures upon request. The group was established as OEPIAG (Austrian Porcelain Industry) in 1918 and became EPIAG in 1920. Bohemia became part of Czechoslovakia at the end of World War I. EPIAG became part of Starorolsky Porcelain (Old Porcelain Group) in 1945.
