This is a rare album of The State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, its history and collections. The book was published by The Order of Scientific Council of Tretyakov Gallery. It is a very nice album of great examples of old master paintings in the Tretyakov Gallery and also this book has complete history of the gallery. The book was published in Moscow USSR in 1989 by Iskusstvo Publishers. Hard cover, 445 pages with a lot of wonderful illustrations with captions. The book is written in Russian language. The album has paintings of many famous Russian artists such as Korovin, Fedotov, Venitsianov, Vasnetsov, Briullov, etc. It is very nice album made out of very heavy fine paper. The book is in excellent condition. The dust jacket shows some signs of wearing (see pictures). Size: 13.75 x 10 inches. Very nice and heavy over 6 LB album.
