This is a rare album of The Menshikov Palace museum in Leningrad, USSR. The Menshikov Palace museum is now a branch of famous Hermitage Museum. Alexander Menshikov was the closest associate of Peter the Great, outstanding general and statesman and the first Governor-General of St. Petersburg. The book was published in Moscow USSR in 1986 by Sovetsky Khudozhnik Publishers. Hard cover, dust jacket, cloth binding, 218 pages with a lot of wonderful illustrations with captions. The book is written in Russian. It is very nice album made out of very heavy fine paper. The book is in excellent condition but dust jacket has some light signs of wearing. Size: 13 x 9.75 inches.
