The coin was issued in 1975 to commemorate 30 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The obverse: from above is the coat of arms of the USSR with 15 turns of the tape, to the left of it the letters «CC», to the right «CP», below the face value of the coin «1» and below the word «РУБЛЬ» (RUBLE). The reverse: In the center of the coin is the image of the sculpture of E. V. Vuchetich «Motherland is calling» from the monument to the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad in Volgograd. To the left of the sculpture is a five-pointed star with a hammer and sickle in the center, under the star are the numbers «1941-1945».
