This is a Belarusian 2005 Silver 20 Rubles Mint condition Coin- Hockey 2006 Olympic Games; diameter 38.61 mm; 28.28 grams, 0.925 Silver, thickness 2.65 mm. Low 15000 pieces issued. Proof MINT condition. The coin comes in original square capsule. The 20-ruble special silver coin of Belarus is dedicated to hockey, the popular Olympic sport. The collectible piece was launched on the eve of the Winter Olympic Games. The event was held in Torino, Italy, in 2006. Being one of the most spectacular winter sports, hockey has a number of devoted fans in many countries of the world. The proof coin is made of .925 rate silver and has the traditional relief design without excess decorations. The obverse of the coin shows the big Belarusian Coat of Arms in the center and the legends placed in circumference by the rim of the coin. They state the name of the country and the face value of the piece in Belarusian and the year of issue as well. The reverse has thematic relief image on the mirror finished surface. There are hockey players and Belarusian flag depicted as the central image; the name of the game is placed below.
