This is a beautiful Vintage Russian Orthodox solid brass St. Nicholas icon-pendant. The icon-pendant was made in the XX Century. On the front it has image of St Nicholas Miracle Worker and on the back it has the writing in Old Russian language. The icon-pendant is in excellent condition the raised letters are in perfect condition, which is very rare for old brass items. The pendant has hook for the chain or rope that you can wear it. Size is 1.6†(with the hook) x 1.1†x 0.1†thick. St. Nicholas followed the words of our Lord, to ''lay up treasure for yourself in Heaven,'' by praying every day, by fasting, and by performing good deeds. God was so pleased that he worked many miracles through Nicholas. People began to call him a ''wonderworker'' (a person who works wonders or performs miracles).
