This is an ORIGINAL USSR SOVIET Russian Medal for Strengthening Combat Cooperation. The medal is made out of brass and baked enamel. The medal is in excellent condition. The Medal for Strengthening Combat Cooperation was established by decree of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet on May 25, 1979. The Medal for Strengthening Combat Cooperation is extremely rare and was awarded ONLY to servicemen, the personnel of State Security Borders and Ministries, and to other citizens of the Warsaw Treaty member countries. Warsaw Treaty was signed on May 14, 1955 by 8 Socialist countries of Eastern Europe. The Warsaw Treaty was dissolved in 1991. Size 32 mm.
