This vintage Ukrainian large 11.75”diameter pressed hardboard wood plate is straw inlaid by Ukrainian artist in 1994. The Ukrainian artist created this beautiful art using pieces of regular straw application of ash-berries with leaves on brown background. Look what kind of skill is involved in this work!!!! Each piece of straw is hand cut and glued on the plate by the Ukrainian artist. Some of the straw pieces painted in red color. Can you imagine how much time was spent to make this plaque? This wall decoration is wonderful gifts for any occasion. The beautiful plate comes in original Souvenir Factory box located in Kiev. The box has original tag with name of the factory and date of production. Size is 11.75” diameter. Because the plates are handmade they might be slightly different. The plate has small thread on the back to hang the plate on the wall. Plate is in excellent vintage condition.
