This vintage 1992 egg is handmade out of hardwood, hand painted by the Ukrainian artist in Ukraine/USSR. It is made out of wood and has special painting technique: it has many layers of lacquer. The Ukrainian artist lacquered the egg after each color painted. The ornamental design egg involved a lot of hours of work and it is typical to the Western Ukraine Culture. The egg is in excellent vintage condition. The shape of the egg has always been special and symbolized life in many countries for many Centuries.
