This vintage 1992 pysanka egg is handmade out of hardwood, hand painted by the Ukrainian artist in Ukraine/USSR. The ornamental design in this egg involved a lot of hours of work and it is typical to the Western Ukraine Culture. The egg has painting on both sides: Virgin Mary on one side and Ornate Cross on other side. The egg is in very good vintage condition. The shape of the egg has always been special and symbolized life in many countries for many Centuries.
