ORIGINAL USSR vintage hat for Air Force enlisted, sergeant or cadet of the Soviet Union Air Force for parade walking out uniforms. The hat was issued in 1959 by Soviet Military Factory and has the original USSR Moscow Military Factory tag with logo KV of the Red Warrior Headgear Factory. This type of hat was used 1955-68. The hat has black peak and blue band. The crown is made of wool gabardine with blue band and blue piping. The hat has smaller early-style crown and original 32mm Red Star with Hammer and Sickle cap badge. The cap badge is made out of brass and baked enamel. Russian size is 56, which is equal to 7US size or 22 inches circumference. The hat is in excellent vintage condition (see pictures). The hat is extremely rare and great for serious collectors.
