ORIGINAL USSR vintage hat for General of the Soviet Union Police/Militia. This hat is for USSR General parade uniform. The hat has black leather peak, red band and GRAY crown. Gray crown is for USSR Police/Militia only; parade hats for USSR Army are turquoise. This beautiful hat is WIRE embroidered. The hat has authentic militia/police general cap badge and 2 general buttons. Cap badge and buttons are gold plated. The hat is made out of great quality wool and lined with silk serge. The sweatband is made out of genuine leather, and has a yellow silk string for an adjustable fit. This feature is available only for generals and marshals caps. Russian size is 60, which is equal to 7-1/2 US size or 23.6 inches circumference. The hat is in excellent vintage condition. This is the original Soviet Militia / police General hat made in USSR and issued by Soviet military factory in 1980s. This hat is very well made. The cap has a steel plate in front and a spring around the top. This structure allows keeping shape of the caps permanently. Beware of Fakes and Reproductions!!!
