This is an ORIGINAL low number WWII issue solid silver and hot enamel order of The Great Patriotic War, second class; number 692420. The low number orders were made from solid silver and gold hammer and sickle. The order was issued by Soviet Mint, in 1940s. Excellent vintage condition. Size is 1.8 inches; weight 32.5G with plate and 25.8G without plate. The order of the Patriotic War was established by a Decree of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet on May 20, 1942. The Orders of the Great Patriotic War were awarded to the officers and enlisted of the Soviet Army, Navy and the partisans for personal bravery and courage.
