This is an ORIGINAL Authentic Antique Medal, Jetton, Token issued by Provisional Russian Government on February 27, 1917. Provisional Russian Government existed from February 27,1917 (the first stage of the Russian Revolution of 1917, in which the monarchy was overthrown and replaced by the Provisional Government) till October 25, 1917 (Great October Socialist Revolution led by Lenin). This Temporary Government existed only 8 months. The medal was issued on the one of the first days after Provisional Government took power. On the one side it is written in Russian Language 'To Great Liberated Nation' and dated February 27, 1917. On the bottom of the medallion it is name of producer 'Moscow Factory of Kuchkin'; on the other side it is written FREEDOM. The medal is made out of gilded brass, size 32 x 26mm, weight is 4.46 grams. Excellent antique condition. This item is very rare for any collection. You buy what you see on the pictures.
