This Imperial Russia-Turkish War medals 1877-1878 were issued in 3 different types: Silver, Light-color bronze and regular bronze. We are selling light-color bronze medal. The light-color bronze medals were awarded only to Military personnel of all ranks who participated in at least one battle against the enemy during the war from 1877 to 1878; Sailors who took part in the battles on the Black Sea and on the Danube; Priests, doctors, orderlies, sisters of mercy who were in the troops and put their lives in danger; Civil and military officials who were in the troops and took part in hostilities with weapons in their hands.
