Antique 1861 Badge of Village Governor Ryazan District of Imperial Russia #191 $249.95 This is an extremely rare antique Badge of the reeve of the commune of the Village in Ryazan District of Imperial Russia. It was issued on February 19,1861 by Imperial Russian Government. By decree of the Russian Emperor Alexander the II on February 19, 1861 the serfdom was abolished. On the one side the badge has the date and the monogram of Alexander the II; on the other side the badge has the emblem of Ryazan and the word ''Village Governor''. It is made out of heavy bronze; diameter 41.2mm, thickness 3.3mm, weight 35.4G. Good antique condition. This item is very rare for any collection. You buy what you see on the pictures.
