This great quality Russian lacquer rotating double sided plaque Sadko fairy tale was created by Russian great artist Serov from Palekh art School, Russia. Tempera, multi-layers lacquer finish. It is extremely rare shape of the plaque. For our 30 years experience in this field we found this shape of Russian miniature painted artifact for the first time. The plaque is hand painted from all sides and signed by the Russian artist. On the plaque you can see written in Russian language: subject of the painting, name of the art school and the signature of the artist in the beautiful letters (see details). The painting represents Russian fairy tale ''Sadko''. The plaque has a very unusual shape and turns around, which makes this extremely rare item great for the collection. Total size of the plaque is 0.8 D x 4.25 W x 5.25 H inches. Russian miniature paintings are well known all over the world.
