This is vintage, a very good precise copy of hat for General of the Soviet Union Air Force. This hat is for USSR General parade uniform. The hat was made in Moscow, USSR in 1990s. It was made for movie companies by Russian Military Factory. The hat is a copy of original General hat. The hat has black leather peak and blue band. This beautiful hat is embroidered. The hat is very high quality copy. Buttons with USSR coat of arms are gold plated. The hat is made out of great quality wool and lined with silk serge. The sweatband is made out of genuine leather, and has a burgundy silk string for an adjustable fit. This feature is available only for generals caps. Russian size is 59, which is equal to 7-3/8 US size or 23.2 inches circumference. The hat is in excellent vintage condition. Like in original Soviet Generals' cap this one has a steel plate in front and a steel spring around the top. This structure allows keeping shape of the caps permanently.
