The Soviet officer vintage 1975 heavy genuine leather map case Planshet was issued by USSR Military Factory and has original factory stamp (see picture). These type of cases were used for carrying documents and maps. The map case has different special pockets for a compass, pencils, planimeter, pens etc.; it locks with metal buckles. The map case comes with short handle and long adjustable shoulder strap. Size is 12.75 x 8.5 inches. Very good vintage condition.
