This is original Jacket of Colonel of the 11th Separate Cavalry Regiment in the Armed Forces of the USSR. It was issued by Soviet Military factory in 1971. The Jacket is extremely rare because the 11th regiment was very small. The dimensions of the Jacket is: chest 42 inches, Length of jacket 28.5 inches, sleeves 25 inches, shoulder to shoulder 17.5”. The Jacket is made out of 100% wool and lined with cotton. It comes with Colonel shoulder boards and collar boards with rare insignia . The 11th separate cavalry regiment in the Armed Forces of the USSR was formed in 1962 to participate in filming on the initiative of director S.F.Bondarchuk. The first film in which the cavalrymen starred was the famous 1967 epic War and Peace. Many famous film actors served in this small regiment. The regiment participated in over 900 movies.
