This vintage USSR/Belarus wooden plaque is completely hand made out of furniture type 3/8 plywood. After plaque is done person who prepares the plaque for artist paints it in brown color. Artist carves this plaque after painting. Because plywood is light result after carving is wonderful. This art work is very collectible because it was made by Belarusian artist individually in USSR. The beautiful plaque has original tag with name of the factory and date of production. Artist intricately carved 2 Fire-birds on this plaque. Fire-bird represents FORTUNE in many Russian fairy tales (like PHOENIX).Size is 16 x 12”.
