This is ORIGINAL medal. It was issued to commemorate 800 anniversary of Moscow foundation. It has profile of founder of Moscow -Yuriy Dolgorukiy. It was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet of USSR on September 20, 1947. The Medal is made out of bronze, size is 37 mm (appr. 1.5'').
