This Russian vintage 1980s unique collectible small box was made in Rostov the Great USSR (Russia). It is made out of white metal and completely hand painted with floral design on the lid. The process of making this type of Russian enamel work is very complicated. After each color the item must be fired in a special oven then cooled off and painted with the next color. This process is being repeated, as many times as there are colors on the piece. This Russian box is absolutely gorgeous and unique for collection, it has handmade beautiful metalwork on the sides.
