This Russian vintage unique collectible small box was made in Rostov the Great (Russia). It is made out of solid white metal and completely hand painted with floral design on the lid. Lid of the box is actually a brooch with pin back. The process of making this type of Russian enamel work is very complicated. After each color the item must be fired in a special oven then cooled off and painted with the next color. This process is being repeated, as many times as there are colors on the piece. This Russian box/brooch is absolutely gorgeous and unique for collection, it has handmade beautiful metal work on the sides. Size: Brooch and box diameter 1.5'' and 1H''.
